Thursday Two Question/A Course in Miracles

Welcome to Thursday Two Questions.

I'm reading a book called A Course in Miracles, which defines miracles in a whole new way than I am accustomed to.

To me, miracles refer to events that interrupt the laws of nature as the result of an action by God, a saint, or a religious leader.

But A Course in Miracles brings miracles down to earth.

It equates a miracle to the kindly world you see extend before you as you walk in gentleness. 

It says a miracle:

• is not withheld from anyone.
• is an exchange performed by those who temporarily have more for those who temporarily have less.
• is healing because it supplies a lack.
• increases the strength of the giver and supplies strength to the receiver.

If this is true, we can all perform miracles simply by giving to our fellow man.

What a thought.
