I'm reading a book called A Course in Miracles, which defines miracles in a whole new way than I am accustomed to.
To me, miracles refer to events that interrupt the laws of nature as the result of an action by God, a saint, or a religious leader.
But A Course in Miracles brings miracles down to earth.
It equates a miracle to the kindly world you see extend before you as you walk in gentleness.
It says a miracle:
- is not withheld from anyone.
- is an exchange performed by those who temporarily have more for those who temporarily have less.
- is healing because it supplies a lack.
- increases the strength of the giver and supplies strength to the receiver.
What a thought.
My Thursday Two Questions to you are:
- What is your definition of a miracle?
- Have you or an acquaintance ever experienced a miracle?
Thanks for stopping by,
