But if I have something to share that doesn't fit into my regular post schedule, I'll slip it in here:
On Tuesday Miscellany.
Let's say I come across a blog site that stands out from the crowd. Then I'll pass it along, as a thanks to the author for creating it and as a gift to you for stopping by.
You may not always be interested in the site's specialty, but I'm sure you'll agree it was at least worth a visit. Who knows, you might even find a site you'll want to save to your "Favorites" and visit again.

- Bring in another guest, besides Dorothy Skarles, of course, who has become a regular here on Fridays.
- Share tips on craft.
- Make an announcement. You know, when something really good (or bad) happens in my writing life that I just can't wait to share.
- Do a book talk. I've read some good ones lately that I'd like to plug.
So for today, I'd like to share Bill Henderson's blog, Write a Better Novel, Practical wisdom for novelists and other storytellers.
Bill describes his blog as, "A professional blog for novelists and other fiction writers who want to add new skills and understand old skills in new ways."
And he has some great stuff. Check out this video, for instance, called Show, Don't Tell. It's worth a look.
Enjoy!
