I'm working on a Vision Board as an exercise in creative visualization.
A vision board is a tool to help unleash the power of your imagination in achieving your dreams.
You glue, tape, or tack a collage of pictures, affirmations, and quotes onto a large blank paper or poster board to represent the life you want to live or goals you want to accomplish.
If what we think indeed becomes the world we see around us, what better way to get the process going?
A vision board helps you imagine the emotions you expect to feel once your dreams come true. It's about picturing the end results and sidestepping the hows. It activates the power of attraction.
You can make a Gratitude vision board or a Good Health vision board or a Relationship vision board, whatever appeals to you, as long as it cultivates positive thoughts and emotions. Then slowly, one action at a time, one day at a time, start taking the steps necessary to achieve your goal, all the while focusing on the destination, not the path you're walking on. It's not about control. Leave room for life's synchronicities. The hows will take care of themselves.
I'm currently collecting pictures, affirmations, and quotes, like:
"Do it. What ever it is. If you have a dream, go ahead,
take the risks, and make whatever sacrifices you possibly can."

IN MY DREAMS!
I made a copy of the Stat Report and taped it onto my vision board, right up there with the rest of the goals I hope to accomplish.
Who knows where good old hard work, visualization, and positive thinking will lead?
Here are some helpful websites if you want to give it a try.

What a great idea, Margaret.
I like to check my blog stats, it certainly cheers me up to know people are reading what I wrote, and checking out my photos.
Thanks!

Hi Kay. Vision boarding makes so much sense. And it's fun! I love putting my DREAMS there visually to reinforce what I'm holding in my mind mentally. Just so you know, the stats listed above are incorrect. I don't know where WebStats gets its information, but I'm not getting 1,389 hits a day. If only it were true. I'd be in stat heaven!
I think vision boards are great, but if you don't have time for that look into the mirror every morning when you get up and tell yourself the positive things you want to happen. It does work. It worked for me.
Hi Dorothy. Sounds good to me. I'll start in the morning. Positive affirmations while looking myself in the eye.
Thanks for the tip, Yanson.
